Tomato Planting with Trisha Smith

Nothing says summer like biting into a fresh, warm tomato straight off the plant. Sprinkle a little bit of salt and let the juices run down your face and hands. Can you picture it?

Trisha Smith, Horticultural Aide at the University Of Maine Cooperative Extension Office, took some with the folks from the Low Vision Group of Dover Foxcroft to share her passion for planting. After some prep work she jumped right in to how to plant the tomato they were going home with thanks to the One Tomato Project!

This video has Trisha sharing her knowledge and excitement for planting, and how easy it is to do right at home.

Let us know what you think! Happy Watching...~TMak
