Reading for a Cause

SeDoMoCha Middle School 5th grade class has taken their learning session with PRFC for Hunger Action Month to the next level. After talking about what hunger means and learning that friends and neighbors in their community don't have enough to eat, they wanted to help!

Here is what they came up with. For the next two weeks, the 5th grade class is doing a Read-A-Thon and asking sponsors to donate food items for the local food cupboards for every book they read! How thoughtful are these kids? So if you know a 5th grader let them know you want to sponsor them and their efforts to support their community members.
