Today Merrilee Schoen, Project Manager at PR Food Center, sat down with Trisha Smith, Horticulture Aide at the UMaine Cooperative Extension Office of Piscataquis County, and talked about the 3rd year of the Piscataquis Passport Project.
PR Food Center has been very active with this program and we are the sponsor and funder of the Veggie Voucher Program, which, as Trisha explains is the voucher system that allows children to get up to $30 in fresh fruits and veggies at the Dover Cove Farmers Market!
